August 5, 2025 - Mt. Rainier Wildflower Elopement with Small Hike
- Mt. Rainier Wildflower Elopement — August 5, 2026 -
Every summer, for just a few fleeting weeks, Mount Rainier bursts into a sea of color. Wildflowers blanket the meadows, snowmelt streams glisten under the sun, and the entire mountain feels alive. This pre-planned elopement experience is designed around that perfect moment, peak wildflower season, when everything at Rainier feels soft, vibrant, and full of life.
This 8-hour all-inclusive elopement includes photo, video, an officiant, and witnesses, creating a fully guided and intentional experience. It’s crafted for couples who want a relaxed, story-filled day with no guests and no pets (we love them, but they aren’t allowed at this alpine location). Just the two of you and the mountain.
The Day
*1:30pm – Arrive at the Cabin
Your story begins tucked away in a forest cabin surrounded by quiet evergreens. We’ll arrive to capture the getting-ready moments: soft light filtering through the windows, details like your attire, handwritten vows, and those quiet moments of anticipation before your first look.
*2:00pm – First Look & Cozy Celebrations
Once you’re ready, you’ll share your first look right outside the cabin, a calm, emotional moment before the adventure begins. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a few slow-paced celebrations such as a mountaintop-style picnic, a small cake cutting, or even a champagne toast on the porch. These early moments are intentionally relaxed, filled with laughter and warmth.
*3:00pm – Depart for Trailhead
We’ll pack up and make our way toward the trailhead, following the winding mountain roads lined with wildflowers and evergreen forest.
*4:00pm – Arrive at Trailhead & Begin Hike
The hike begins with fresh alpine air and endless views. The trail is moderate and scenic, weaving through meadows painted with purple lupine, white avalanche lilies, and crimson paintbrush. With every step, the mountain grows larger and the excitement builds.
*4:45pm – Arrive at Ceremony Location
We’ll reach your ceremony destination, a quiet overlook surrounded by wildflowers with Rainier rising dramatically in the background. You’ll have time to rest, have a snack, and prepare for your vows.
*5:30pm – Ceremony
As the soft evening light begins to shift, your officiant will lead a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by the stillness of the alpine landscape. Your vows will echo through the meadows while our team quietly documents every emotion, with two witnesses, two creatives, and the mountain itself.
*6:00pm – Explore for Photos & Video
After your ceremony, we’ll wander through the meadows and ridgelines capturing the two of you in the most natural way, laughing, walking, and soaking in the view. These are the moments that tell the story of your day: spontaneous, real, and completely unposed.
*7:30pm – Golden Hour
As the sun lowers, everything turns to gold. The wildflowers glow, the snowfields catch the last light, and the mountain radiates with color. This is when your portraits and video moments come alive, cinematic and timeless.
*8:33pm – Sunset & Blue Hour
Rainier’s silhouette fades into pastel hues of pink and indigo as twilight begins. We’ll capture the final moments of your elopement in that moody, romantic light that only exists for a few minutes each evening.
*8:45pm – Begin Hike Back
With headlamps and full hearts, we’ll begin our return, surrounded by the soft sounds of night settling over the mountains.
*9:30pm – Back to the Cars
We’ll arrive back at the trailhead under the stars, a perfect closing to a day that began in the quiet of a cabin and ended beneath the alpine sky.

Why August at Rainier?
August is pure magic at Mount Rainier. The meadows explode with color, the trails are clear, and the light is soft and golden well into the evening. This is one of the most breathtaking times to elope in the park, when the air smells like pine and wildflowers and every direction feels like a postcard.
